Since 01.04.2018, KommWohnen has been the operator of the port of Görlitz (including the kiosk and coffeehouse). The legal basis for the use of the port is the decision of the Dictrict of Görlitz of 19.05.2015 with the following main points:
- season beginns each 23.03. and ends each 31.10 of the calendar year
- all floating vehicles powered by wind or muscle power (sailboats, canoes, etc.) are allowed to use the port; motorboats use is not yet possible
- the usable sailing area is marked with buoys (see Sailing Surface Plan and Regulations)
- port’s operating hours during the sailing season: Wednesday to Sunday 11AM to 7PM. Person to contact: Mr. Zimmermann (Tel. 0049 35822 37 749 20) or employees located in the port building
- fees charged in accordance with the Price List
- limited number of caravan vehicles above the beach (see map); Direct enquiry via Mr. Zimmermann
